Job Overview

You’ll review system specs, work with the QA Lead to plan tests, and collaborate with other teams to ensure software quality. Your tasks will include designing and running tests,creating automated tests, and keeping them up to date. You’ll also work with architects to understand and automate test scenarios, report test results, troubleshoot issues and follow the Scrum process.

Job Description and Responsibilities

1. Check and understand system details.
2. Work with the QA Lead to create and follow test plans.
3. Team up with different teams to ensure software quality throughout development.
4. Help design and build high-quality, complex systems, focusing on mobile and automation.
5. Run test cases on time, including functional, integration, and regression tests, and report any issues.
6. Create and run automated tests.
7. Identify needs for regression testing and manage automated tests.
8. Collaborate with architects to understand scenarios and design automated test cases.
9. Keep automated scripts updated and follow coding standards.
10. Report on test results and statistics.
11. Help troubleshoot issues and find their causes.
12. Follow the Scrum process and participate in related meetings and activities.

Qualification and Knowledge Required for this Position

1. 0.5 to 3 years of QA Testing experience required; internships can count. If you don’t have this, you need training in manual and automation testing.
2. Experience with IDEs like XCode and Android Studio.
3. Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium is a plus.
4. Knowledge of JIRA, GIT, SQL, and databases.
5. Comfortable with both Linux and Windows systems.
