These events can affect the positions and rights our clients and trading desks hold in securities. In Morgan Stanley Operations team, Morgan Stanley work closely with different parts of the company to support financial transactions,set up effective controls, and build relationships with clients.We’re always looking for new ways to automate processes and improve how things are done This position is at the Associate level in Core Services. Here, you’ll manage operational services that work across various businesses and products, regardless of specific type.

Job Description

1. In this role, you will ensure and work that all corporate events like Fixed Income,Currencies, and Commodities and equity markets are handled accurately and skillfully.
2. These events can impact the positions and rights held by our clients and trading desks in securities.
3. Within Morgan Stanley’s Operations team, we collaborate closely with different parts of the company to support financial transactions, establish effective controls,and cultivate strong client relationships.
4. Morgan Stanley’s are constantly exploring new ways to automate processes andenhance operational efficiency.
5. As an Associate in Core Services, you will oversee operational services that deals various businesses and products, covering a wide range of operational needs regardless of their specific nature.
6. Morgan Stanley is searching for an Associate to join our Reference Data Services team.

Job Role

1. Create and update client, issuer, and vendor records in our system.
2. This involves researching approved sources and analyzing documents to find the necessary details for operational use, as well as for financial and regulatory reporting.
3. Handle Corporate Actions like name changes and mergers by verifying details from approved sources.
4. Collaborate with important business areas and other stakeholders to ensure we follow policies and regulations.
5. Work closely with teams across the bank to make sure all affected parties,locations, and structures are updated correctly after each Corporate Action.
6. Keep existing client records accurate by using the same careful analysis and attention to detail, ensuring our reference database remains current.
7. Review requests for new processes and rules to maintain data quality, and assist with changes needed due to new regulations or business needs.
8. Enter information into our systems and check its quality. Always strive to maintain high standards of accuracy and data quality.
