Job Overview

In the Corporate Investment Bank, the WKO Banking Middle Office (WKO MO) is essential for maintaining compliance with various regulations, safeguarding the bank’s reputation and financial assets. The WKO MO partner will handle business requests for KYC On boarding, Remediation, and Renewals in the Front Office.

The Analyst will oversee the entire client onboarding process, making sure all necessary documentation is gathered and sent to the KYC Production team. The WKO MO collaborates closely with Bankers,Operations, Credit, Legal, and Compliance to ensure prompt and effective onboarding of new and existing client relationships into the JP Morgan infrastructure.

Job Description

1. Handle new business requests from the Front Office and oversee the entire KYC process.
2. Assist Relationship Managers with overnight screening, client exits, and other KYC tasks as needed.
3. Communicate regularly with business teams to plan workloads, review onboarding statuses,and prioritize requests.
4. Serve as an expert on Due Diligence and guide clients through KYC requirements,advising on acceptable documents.
5. Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Operations to build strong relationships, resolve issues, and maintain information flow.
6. Analyze client ownership structures using public sources or provided documentation, seeking approvals when necessary.
7. Manage personal workload efficiently, escalate risks or issues to management promptly.
8. Collaborate closely with the Front Office and clients to gather required evidence for KYC due diligence.
9. Follow up with KYC production teams to ensure timely completion of onboarding processes.
10. Stay updated on process changes, regulatory updates, and maintain open communication with colleagues.
11. Identify and implement improvements in processes, provide guidance on technology initiatives to improve business operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage incoming business requests from the Front Office and oversee the entire KYC process from start to finish
2. Serve as a subject matter expert on Due Diligence, guiding clients through KYC requirements and advising on acceptable document variations
3. Conduct detailed analysis of client ownership structures using public sources or provided documentation, seeking necessary approvals as required.
4. Collaborate closely with the Front Office and clients to gather all required documentation and evidence for KYC due diligence.
5. Ensure timely completion of client onboarding by following up with KYC production teams and adhering to agreed-upon timelines.
6. Maintain regular communication with business teams to plan workloads, review the status of key onboarding processes, and prioritize pending requests.
7. Support Relationship Managers by assisting with overnight screening, managing client exits, and handling other KYC-related tasks as necessary.
8. Effectively manage personal workload and prioritize tasks, promptly escalating any key risks or issues to management.

Main Skills Required for the Position
