Job Description

  1. Develop and implement plans to grow and expand a group of journalism students and citizen journalists.
  2. Organize events, workshops, and webinars to engage members and offer valuable resources.
  3. Create and manage content for community platforms like social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  4. Share relevant articles, stories, and resources that inspire and inform community members.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with schools, journalism organizations and industry professionals.
  6. Work with partners to provide mentorship, internships, and other opportunities for community members.
  7. Offer guidance and support to community members, answering their questions and concerns.
  8. Encourage discussions and interactions within the community to create a collaborative environment.
  9. Track community engagement and analyses feedback to improve community initiatives.
  10. Report on community growth, successes, and challenges to senior management.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Community Building:Organize and lead events, workshops, and webinars to engage members and provide valuable resources.
