Job Responsibilities

1. Identifying potential case study topics.
2. Engaging with technical leaders and product teams to detail comprehensive business decisions.
3. Creating engaging stories that showcase every business trip.
4. Analyzing case studies to identify principles and best practices.
5. Translating technical processes into universally applicable insights. ,
6. Working with technical reviewers and subject matter experts for technical accuracy.
7. Coordinating with the production team for integration of visual elements.
8. Ensuring that content meets high standards for readability, coherence and impact.
9. Adapting and aggregating content in different formats.
10. Editing content to involve technical professionals.
11. Staying updated on industry trends and products.

Job Objectives

1. Research, identify and acquire appropriate partners for new case studies.
2. Grow your network of experts through outreach, referrals and Packt connections.
3. Build customer awareness and insight through user interviews.
4. Work with case study partners to obtain full portfolio of product documentation and supporting artefacts.
5. Identify key decision points from the data and interview stakeholders to understand those decisions – the inputs (research, insight, etc.), the decision-making process, the outcome, the learning.
6. Create a cohesive and engaging narrative from the data arranged around those sequential decisions. Ensure that key learning from each decision can be abstracted to best practices that readers can apply to their own context.
7. Navigate issues of privacy and confidentiality in presenting internal/sensitive information.

Role Requirements  

1. Proficient in conducting thorough research, interviewing stakeholders, and synthesizing information.
2. Excellent communicator able to work effectively with a diverse range of contributors and experts.
3. Exceptional writer with the ability to weave complex technical concepts into compelling, accessible narratives.
4. Strong analytical skills to distil complex information into clear insights and practical advice.
5. User focused and able to adapt content and style for different audiences and formats, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
6. Solid background in tech, with a grasp of product development processes, methodologies (like Agile, Scrum), and the tech ecosystem.
7. Base understanding of and interest in generative AI.
