Job Overview
In this role, you’ll be part of the Data Management team at Novotech. As a Clinical Data Associate Trainee, your main tasks will include entering and reviewing data, coding information, and providing administrative support to Clinical Data Managers on clinical trial projects. You’ll also help make sure that everything follows the best practices for managing clinical data.
Qualification and Knowledge Required
- Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, clinical research, or a related field.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in similar areas are acceptable.
- Preferably has a good understanding of clinical research.
- Knowledge of data management processes is a plus.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate data collection, validation, coding, and reconciliation for clinical studies, following Novotech standards.
- Enter clinical trial data using Clinical Data Management software.
- Help Clinical Data Managers (CDMs) with data cleaning, validation, and reconciling external data.
- Track received and entered CRF pages and manage data queries.
- Coordinate coding activities and electronic data transfers, addressing any issues.
- Assist CDMs with database testing and edit checks as needed.
- Help create reports and listings during projects.
- Attend project meetings when requested by CDMs.
- Provide general administrative support to the Data Management team as needed.
- Assist with clinical coding and related data queries.
- Perform other daily tasks for the Data Management team as directed by the Line Manager.
