Job Overview

Pinkerton’s are hiring an Operator to manage alarms and handle daily tasks for one of our major global clients. This role involves following up on alarms, updating trouble tickets using security cameras, and reporting any issues. You’ll work with a supervisor to ensure smooth operations and address any problems that arise.

Represent Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Communicate clearly via email about alarms, follow the shift handover process, and manage alarms by priority. Update and assign troubletickets, create tickets for malfunctioning alarms, and work with BAC during shifts. Use and navigate security cameras, report any issues, and inform the shift supervisor about any escalations. Qualification and Knowledge Required for the Position

1.  Graduate with 1-3 years of experience in BMS/Command Centre/Security preferred; freshers with strong communication skills are also welcome.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
4. Willing to learn new tools and innovations.
5. Flexible with shift work and available for overtime if needed.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
7. Self-motivated, curious about current events, and knowledgeable about them.

Job Responsibilities

1. Communicate clearly via email about alarms as per the process.
2. Take over alarms and tasks from the previous shift effectively.
3. Manage and prioritize alarms, and dispatch as needed.
4. Follow the SLA to address alarms based on their priority.
5. Update and assign trouble tickets, and ensure follow-up and closure.
6. Create tickets for malfunctioning or excessive alarms.
7. Work closely with BAC throughout your shift.
8. Uphold Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
9. Use and manage security cameras, and report issues as needed.
10. Inform the shift supervisor about any urgent issues or escalations.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
